No, our job is to teach you to shoot safely. It it your decision to join or not to join the NRA there is no pressure. We will answer all questions we can about the NRA and we are all members. |

This may sound like a silly question... But we have seen high heels and high skirts at the range. So, no open toed foot wear, no tank top tshirts, no high skirts shorts OK . Heres why, hot brass flies a couple feet from the firing line sometimes. When it goes between your toes or down your shirt you can sustain a slight burn. You also may have to get in the prone position (laying down) or kneel and we don't want distractions. |
Saturday's light breakfast and lunch is included in the price. We provide a light breakfast, rolls beagles, cream cheese and butter, bottled water, juice, coffee with tea. If you wish to drink another beverage you are welcome to bring it. Lunch is normally a house salad with a Penne a la Vodka or Chicken Francese or Mediterranean Pork chops over rice or holiday special. We do not provide any other foods. |
All ranges have some sort of age requirements. 10 Years is a common age that local ranges permit to shoot rifle and shotgun. The NRA has no age limits nor does the state of NJ. There is a 50 question written test at the end of the course that must be completed. Contact us for more information. Minors MUST be accompanied by an paying adult. |
Yes and no. Is it a modern gun, well maintained, functional and safe? The in most cases the answer is: Yes Did your Great Grandpa leave it to you in a will? The answer is probably going to be No. All firearms must pass a function check by the instructor/RSO their decision is final. When in doubt bring it to a gunsmith and let them have check it out. And get a letter! Yes and no. You can bring the correct ammunition for your firearm as long as: 1. It is not reload ammo 2. It is not illegal in NJ (Armor piercing, Tracer/Incinduary) 3. It is not "old" (rusty, corroded, discolored) 4. It is in its original container. (No bag-O-bullets) Once again the instructor and or RSO have final say what can be used on the range |

Yes,we have a refrigerator if you have a special diet. We also provide a small microwave. |
We have ear and eye protection available for you to use. You can always use your own as long as it is the proper type. |

As long as you are eligible for a NJ Firearms Purchaser Identification Card (DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE ONE), are not a felon, have never been convicted of a violent crime, have no domestic restraining orders against you, can legally possess firearms in NJ and have not been dishonorably discharged from the military and are 10 years or older. |

XIII. Cancellations
contact with a representative of this company (732) 791-4880. (No messages will be accepted) or confirmed email dawn@shootnj.com or by registered mail SHOOT NJ 1385 Highway 35 #307 Middletown, NJ 07748. Prior to seven (7) working days before the scheduled class will receive refund in full within thirty (30) days or may reschedule for another date. Cancellations within seven (7) working days before the scheduled class will ONLY have their monies applied to a new course date. No-show, without cancellation will receive no refund and no reschedule. ( If there should be an emergency on the date of the class, please call us and let us know!) |
| NO ammunition is allowed in classroom. Please park behind the club house. You will receive a confirmation email with class information in the next day or so. You would be sent the last confirmation email the Wednesday before class. We provide bottled water, Coffee and Tea. If you wish to drink another beverage we have refrigerators you can store it in. |
